Dreams and Birthday Wishlists
-Manga Messiah--Consuming Fire by Hillsong United-"You never know why you're alive until you know what you would die for. - 2 years and 8 months is worth it... ~ Consuming Fire, Rain Down on me."Feeling: GleefulOh, it's that time of the year again, when my birthday approaches and I, as usual, post up my birthday wishlist for the year. =P
I never do get half of what I post up, but it's just for the fun of it anyways. And for the benefit of people who don't know how to buy presents for others a.k.a. Ben. (Okay then Ben, I'm expecting to get at least one thing on my list. =P) I'm supposed to have moved blogs by now, but I'm not used to blogspot yet and I don't have the time to manouevre through things, so blogdrive it is. Zhen's 17th Birthday Wishlist
1. A small silver cross pendant necklace2. Books! (and I've decided to be nice enough to include pictures this time round! =P)I like this cover better, but I don't think MPH stocks these anymore.
This is nice as well, but not as nice as the above. =) First book in the Cosmic Trilogy. The other books are Perelandra and That Hideous Strength. (read between the lines: If you're nice enough to get me all three, I'd love you forever.) Recommended me by Tzu Anne. But haven't gotten my hands on it yet. I like this cover but I don't think it has reached our shores yet. This is the more common one in Malaysia. Yes, Ju, I still want this even after reading it. =P. Supposed to be a really, really good book. One of those children's classics that I simply must own. - Inkspell by Cornelia Funke - not sure how much the paperback is.
This silver version is nicer. =P I found this cover to be just as I like it - whimsical, fantastical... But I don't think it's arrived at our shores either. This is the cover I saw in the bookstores. It resembles crime fiction like Jeffrey Archer and airport novels. Not to my liking. Actually, I wouldn't mind any book from him. I just wanna read his style. Stardust would do fine as well. =P - Anne Rice novels
- Any other book that's worth having la. I'm trying to expand to good literature that are shortlisted for/win book awards.
- Any good Christian literature =)
3. CDs - A Thousand Different Ways by Clay Aiken
How can I not include him? =P

Dreams and Answered Prayers
-Acts of the Apostles--Above All by Michael W. Smith-"Socially inept. - Does anyone have/knows anyone who has last Sunday's Nanyang Siang Pau or China Press?"Feeling: ContemplativeThere are a few signs that indicate I have just finished watching an episode of Grey's Anatomy.- There is (sometimes) dried saline all over my face.
- I am sitting in shock, staring at the advertisements and programmes after Grey's without really absorbing anything.
- I am particularly contemplative.
"God works in funny ways", they say. But if there's one thing as sure as the rising sun, it's His faithfulness in fulfiling His promises.Right after that self-absorbed blog entry, He replied. I stumbled upon a website and knew that He was answering my prayer at the end of that entry. And He's been replying, even till now. I still think myself socially inept though. But more on that next time.Right now, I just wanna type this.
You are cordially invited to witness the BAPTISM ofLIM WEI ZHENon the 5th of August, 2007 (Sunday)in First Baptist Church, Pantaiat the 11.00 am service. For more enquiries, please contact Lim Wei Zhen at ladyzhen@gmail.com

-The Acts of the Apostles--Sleeping To Dream by Jason Mraz-"Socially inept. - A blank slate."Feeling: At a lossI am extremely tempted to
cut myself off from the world,
cuddle myself up into my own bunny hole, and
pursue my own interests for the rest of my life.
Because every little thing I try to do just doesn't seem to end up right.Because it never does come naturally, and the effort I put in makes it seem so fake.Because I am socially inept.I need someone to come sweep me up and save me. Again.God, are you there? It's me, Zhen.Living In Dream Haven (all by herself and forcing herself into loving it),Zhen

-Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix- -She Will Be Loved by Buena Vista Social Club feat. Maroon 5-
"The plan has hit a stumbling block. - Because it's our last chance! ~ Apathy is not an option. ~ Attitude."
Feeling: Excited
Even though I am a tad dissappointed that our grand master plan didn't work out, I am still excited nevertheless.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, leave and never come back.
Okay okay was just kidding. Please don't leave. I appreciate readers. Really!
Anyway, if you still don't know what I'm talking about, well, it's none other than the release of the final Harry Potter book.
Okay I can feel the rolling of your eyes. But oh well, that's the way it is.
In 8 more hours, I, Lim Wei Zhen, will be holding a (hopefully limited edition) copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
I'm tingling with excitement. =P
I'm sorry I haven't updated in awhile. I wanted to, I really did, but as usual I made excuses for myself.
I am contemplating moving blogs. Still not too sure yet though.
But anyways, I shall attempt to update my blog with the entries I wanted to type. They're just too good material to pass up.
Living In Dream Haven,
Zhen
